​Chicken Wings


INGREDIENTS:
​2 lbs. Chicken wings, tips trimmed
2-3 TBSP. Gusto's Georgia Dry Rub plus more   for finishing
1 cup hickory wood chips, presoaked for at least 1hr.
Your favorite wing sauce (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Sprinkle rub over wings, cover in container and refrigerate for 2 hours. 
2. Heat smoker to 225°F for indirect heat, place wood chips over hot coals.
3. Cook chicken in smoker on the non-heated side for 1-1.5 hours or until wings reach an internal temperature of 165-175°F
4. Sprinkle a small amount of dry rub on the hot wings OR toss wings in sauce before serving.
