Slider Party BoardNo time to smoke meats? No problem. You can make this party board in less than 2 hours. This is our 2023 Chiefs v. Eagles Super Bowl party slider board recipes. INGREDIENTS:
For Kansas City Sliders 2-3 lbs. chuck roast cut into 1" pieces 2-3 TBSP. Gusto's Kansas City rub 1 TBSP. olive oil 1/2 cup beef broth 1/4 cup coca-cola A few drops liquid smoke Barbecue sauce Equipment needed: Instant pot/ pressure cooker Oven-safe tray for broiling Acoutrements: Hawaiian sweet rolls Dill pickle chips Slaw Quick pickled onions Barbecue sauce ------------------------------- For Philly Cheesesteak Sliders 1 lb. thinly sliced ribeye 2 TBSP. Gusto's Burger rub 1 medium onion, diced 1 large red pepper, cut into strips 2 TBSP. butter Acoutrements: Slider buns One package spreadable cheddar cheese OTHER ITEMS NEEDED: Half sheet baking pans Parchment paper Various bowl or plates |
DIRECTIONS:
For KANSAS CITY SLIDERS:
Place olive oil in Instant Pot and turn on saute function. In a bowl, toss chuck with Gusto's Kansas City rub. Brown the chuck. Pour in beef broth, cola and liquid smoke. Turn function to High Pressure and cook for 20 minutes. After cook time, release steam after 5 minutes and allow beef to sit for another 5 minutes before opening lid.
Place beef pieces on a wire rack and allow to rest 10 minutes. Place meat on oven-safe tray, brush with barbecue sauce and broil 2-3 minutes, flip pieces, brush on more barbecue sauce and broil an additional 1-2 minutes or until meat has crisped slightly. Watch carefully as not to burn! Set aside and prepare your Philly cheesesteaks!
FOR PHILLY CHEESSTEAKS:
In a medium-sized bowl, toss steak pieces in Gusto's Burger rub. Heat butter in frying pan over medium heat and sauté onions until slightly browned (4-5 minutes). Set aside. Saute pepper strips in same pan until tender-crisp (2-3 minutes). Set aside.
Turn stove to medium-high and brown meat, chopping the meat along the way, until browned and cooked to your liking.
Place parchment paper on two half-sheet baking pans. Lay ingredients for respective sliders onto each pan using bowls or plates or straight onto the parchment paper. And you're done!
