Grilled Jalapeño Hot Dogs with Jalapeño RelishEasy and crazy delicious!
INGREDIENTS: HOT DOG PREP: 4 all beef hotdogs 1 TBSP. Gusto's Jalapeno Rub 2 TBSP. chopped cilantro 1 garlic clove, minced 1 tsp. vegetable oil JALAPENO RELISH PREP: 2 small jalapeños, finely diced 1/4 sweet onion, finely diced 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped sprinkle of salt Hot Dog buns |
DIRECTIONS:
HOT DOG PREP:
With a sharp knife, cut crisscross patterns 1/2" apart on two sides of each hotdog, making sure not to cut all the way through. In a small bowl, mix together jalapeño rub, cilantro, garlic and oil. Place hotdogs in a large plastic zipper bag and pour jalapeño mixture over hotdogs. Marinate the dogs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes but up to 24hrs.
Preheat grill to medium-high
Remove jalapeño dogs from zipper bag and grill each one until charred to your liking on both sides. Place each dog in a bun, top with jalapeño relish and open wide! Serves 2-4.
